Volunteers from Clayton Bay, Strathalbyn and Meadows Country Fire Service (CFS) brigades recently returned from a Queensland deployment where they assisted in the clean-up from rain, flooding and subsequent damage from Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
Alfred had a 17-day track towards the land and the New South Wales government declared the natural disaster for 15 council areas on March 6.
