As the sun fell, and candlelight illuminated the night sky, about 400 people gathered at Macclesfield RSL on Sunday for a heart-felt Anzac Day service.
Led by Macclesfield RSL President Dennis Oldenhove, the service included poems, the Ode, special readings, bagpipe playing and The Last Post and minute’s silence, before a wreath-laying ceremony and closing.
