Organisers of the Macclesfield Strawberry Fete say they were “thrilled” by the crowd that attended Sunday’s event, especially given the current economic environment.
About 2520 people came through the gates and helped buy more than 1000 punnets of the juicy fruit, browse stalls, see and hear attractions, and enjoy games for the kids.
