Sporadic rain failed to dampen the spirits of Eastern Fleurieu School seniors as they arrived in style for their long-awaited formal at Lake Breeze Wines on Friday night.
More than 100 students celebrated the impending end to their schooling in a rustic setting decorated with fairy lights and native table centre pieces.
Abandoning tradition, the Class of ’22 decided to skip the crowning of ‘royals’ this year, as every student should “feel like royalty”.
EFS teachers have also gone viral in a special ’90s video send off, where staff rapped along to the feel-good track ‘Got the Feelin’ by Five.
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air font wished the seniors good luck as the teachers fashioned double denim, overalls, gothic make-up and basketball jerseys to give the year 12s something to “truly remember”.
