Heading into bushfire season and with more frequent disasters expected in the future, residents are being encouraged to get prepared during an event this weekend.
At Mount Compass War Memorial Hall on Sunday, from 10am to 3pm, the Country Fire Service (CFS) will hold bushfire preparedness sessions and have a fire truck on display.
