Macclesfield residents are working together to improve the town’s preparedness and resilience for disaster events.
Supported by emergency management agencies such as Red Cross, the Macclesfield Disaster Resilience Group was formed in late 2022 following a series of community workshops which explored potential disasters and impacts on the tight-knit town.
