It has rained but the ‘drought’s not over’

While the region welcomed some rainfall last week, farmers and rural property owners continue to struggle through the driest period on record.

Strathalbyn recorded 4.8mm over two days last week, while Hindmarsh Island and Mount Barker had 4.4mm and 8.6mm for the month, respectively, according to Bureau of Meteorology.
