Locals over the age of 16 can now access free, walk-in mental health services after the recent opening of a Mount Barker centre.
The Mount Barker Medicare Mental Health Centre offers confidential support and information with no waiting lists or referrals.
The local facility is among more than 60 expected to be opened across the country by mid-2026, including five in South Australia.
