An increase in vehicles speeding through Mount Barker’s Summit Sport and Recreation Park has forced the local council to take additional measures to prevent hoons.
Although the posted speed limit throughout the park is 30km/h, many residents have reported witnessing vehicles driving well-above that and taking the route as a shortcut, particularly during peak hour traffic.
