The Mount Barker District Council population is set to grow by 44 per cent over the next 22 years.
According to Informed Decisions – a company of demographers, social researchers, urban economists and industry sector experts – the current district population is 44,772, forecast to grow to 64,838 by 2046.
The growth rate was 4.49 per cent in the last year.
