A local snake catcher is hoping to take the fear out of snakes for others, as sightings increase during spring when the animal awakens from brumation in search of food and a mate.
“Snakes don’t hibernate, contrary to peoples’ beliefs – they go into a state known as brumation,” Murraylands Snake Catcher, David Dique, explained.
