Organisers of Sunday’s Macclesfield Strawberry Fete were happy with the numbers coming through the gates, again selling out of strawberries, despite doubling the supply from last year.
Macclesfield Community Association (MCA) Vice Chair Christie Gordon said early mist failed to keep people away, with the crowds flocking in as the day cleared.
Numbers were on par, if not more than last year.
