Nine local Country Fire Service (CFS) volunteers recently returned from a deployment to the Wilmington fire in the Mount Remarkable National Park in the Flinders Ranges.
Strathalbyn CFS Group deployed the Langhorne Creek 14 appliance, two command vehicles, and nine members from various brigades.
The fire was started by lightning on February 2 at about 4.30pm.
