Strathalbyn Woodshed is crowdfunding $15,000 to help establish a temporary work area and to meet any costs unmet by insurance after the building suffered a fire in November.
An overheated saw bench sparked the fire and while members extinguished the blaze, an ember was sucked into the dust extractor and caught alight.
