Strathalbyn, Woodchester, and Langhorne Creek CFS crews responded to a grass fire in Bletchley on February 28.
A fallen power line sparked the fire at Clemco Almonds and its quick-thinking farmers quickly used a loader to create a firebreak around the flames.
Airdrops were initially requested but later cancelled.
