A former Langhorne Creek resident and now a SA Police Superintendent will attempt to set a world gliding record on Australia Day.

Superintendent Dave Scutchings APM, along with son Max, has given himself the challenge to undertake 50 loops in a glider, and along with the record, raise awareness and money for SA Police Legacy and inspire young people to set goals, particularly around aviation.
