Mount Barker detectives are searching for the owner of a distinctive jewellery box.
At about 4pm on Saturday, police stopped a Subaru travelling on the South Eastern Freeway, near Mount Barker, after it was clocked travelling at 146km/h in a 110km/h zone.
Officers were able to stop the car and speak to the driver, a 42-year-old Murray Bridge man, who was issued an expiation notice for speeding.
