A petition to re-activate the Strathalbyn Hospital Emergency Department (ED) has been launched by a local MP on the third-year anniversary of its ‘temporary closure’.
As previously reported in The Southern Argus, the local ED was ‘temporarily closed’ in 2020 in response to the COVID pandemic, and has since been unable to re-open due to alleged ‘workforce challenges’.
