The clouds finally parted for the Strathalbyn Racing Club’s second race meet of the season, bringing in a crowd of almost 500 people last Wednesday.
Despite obvious weather challenges and the previous race meet scheduled for September being abandoned, the track presented and held well for WineGrapes Race Day after upgrading from a heavy eight to a soft seven.
