Strathalbyn-based jockey Justin Potter had a memorable weekend at Murray Bridge, winning a race for his father on a $200 chance, before taking out the 1600m Cup on Jack the Lad.
Jaywick, a seven-year-old rank outsider trained by Potter’s dad Bruce, swung to the lead at the top of the straight and never looked back.
