Strathalbyn’s former cycling club was known for punching above its weight – and this June will mark 100 years since four of its members pulled off the first of two remarkable victories in Adelaide.

Brothers Eph and Ted Jaensch, Cecil Cross and Otto Werner had competed locally and as far afield as Kapunda and Meningie in track and road races.
