Strathalbyn Run Club member, Brett Goldfinch, took great strides in a recent ultramarathon, coming third in the long trail in Australian Ultra Runners Association (AURA) National Championships.
He finished 115km in 11 hours and 51 minutes in the championships, which was part of the Heysen 105 organised by Ultra Series last month.
